channel unit. While it’s physically smaller, it offers massive potential for uncompromising
creative mixing, even in DJ booths with limited space. You can use a more advanced range of
effects, including upgraded filters and Send FX, to express yourself when you play with the
DJM-V5 – no matter what the setting. And the built-in SonicLink transmitter, which uses
AlphaTheta’s unique ultra-low-latency wireless technology, enables you to perform with
greater freedom. Simply pair it with HDJ-F10 headphones and you can monitor your music
wirelessly with minimal latency, giving you new possibilities to enjoy a seamless and flexible
mixing environment.

The mixer inherits the layout, tactile feel, and many features of the DJM-V10 – including the 4-band EQ, compressor, filter, and Send FX – but has a 30% smaller footprint. While it’s compact in size, the DJM-V5 retains a professional feel and flexible sound-shaping capabilities. You can precisely control levels with the 60-mm long-throw channel faders from the DJM-V10-LF and, when you lower one, the new Soft Mix Curve fader mode automatically applies subtle high frequency attenuation to create smoother, more natural blends – helping you to express yourself through sound in the most delicate and nuanced ways.

Building on the acclaimed high-resolution warm sound of the DJM-V10, the DJM-V5 delivers well-balanced mixing that avoids sonic saturation – even when you layer multiple audio sources. It features studio-grade 96 kHz / 64-bit mixing DSP processing, with high-quality 32-bit A/D and D/A converters from ESS Technology built into the channel input and master output sections. Every audio component was carefully selected and optimized for the unit, with repeated listening tests conducted in real-world environments including clubs. The result is a refined audio signature that maximizes the contours of every sound, the spatial expression, and even the silence between notes – creating an immersive experience where each element stands out clearly and the overall mix feels smooth and energetic.
