If you have seen pro battle DJs perform on mixers like the DJM-S11, the layout of the DJM-S5 will feel familiar. This unit offers a perfect balance between simple operation and exciting performance features, so you can lift your mixes straight away. The popular MAGVEL FADER PRO feels great for scratching, and you can find the perfect weighting with Feeling Adjust. It is also extremely rugged and built to withstand constant use while you perfect your technique.

 

Ready to add drama to your sets? The large effect levers of the DJM-S5 are the same size as on the flagship DJM-S11, and can control up to 57 different effects in Serato DJ Pro, including the paid expansion packs. Save your favourites to the 2 banks and reach them instantly during your routine. You can also use 4 performance pads on every channel to control pad modes including Hot Cue, Sampler and Scratch Bank, where you can trigger samples or even whole tracks with a single tap.

 

You can start scratching as soon as you connect the DJM-S5, even with no experience. With the brand new Scratch Cutter function, simply move the control vinyl or the jog wheel (when using DVS control) on one of your decks, and the mixer applies one of 6 chosen cut patterns to the perfectly timed sample or track, while the track plays on the other deck, with no need to move the crossfader. And with another new function on the mixer, Crossfader Hot Cue, you can create a scratch like sound by simply moving the crossfader. The DJM-S5 is the first Pioneer DJ mixer that can be powered over the USB connection to your computer. That gives extra freedom, and if you use portable turntables you can take the whole setup anywhere you like.

This unit has a brand new look that catches the audience's attention, whether you are playing at a party or on a live stream. The red lit section on the top plate gives it the appearance of an instrument, and there is a unique transparent window on the front panel that shows the construction of the MAGVEL FADER PRO.

 

The DJM-S5 offers native control of Serato DJ Pro and Serato DVS. Simply connect the mixer to a PC or Mac running the software and start playing. You can also power the mixer from the same USB connection.
